You may know me from some of my senseless ramblings about a television show called "Animaniacs" on John K's blog, "All Kinds of Stuff"
I come here today to publicly apologize To John K and all animation fans for my needless, tired, and disrespectful Rants on this very show that I have heartlessly posted on a blog dedicated to Animation fans and Cartoonists, the majority of which cannot stand said television program.
To do so was a spit upon the legacy of Animation and upon the legacy of John Kricfalusi, who's love and passion for animation inspired a generation of young artists to shoot for the stars, and inspired a beloved (by most) era in which to make a cartoon and put your soul into it was not a crime.
I pray for your forgiveness and hope that my alternate opinions on Animation will not be ignored simply because of my opinion on one particular show, or my continued and overbearing rants on said show.
I leave you now with a short film that I hope shall both delight you and signify the amount of discussion of 90s Warner brothers Animation on John Kricfalusi's blog in the future.

Hey Matie
don't worry about it. It's a free country.
I just wonder how every post I do ends up about Animaniacs.
But you are free to like anything you want. Lots of people hate the HB cartoons I like and I don't blame them. But I still like them. But I wouldn't go to a Disney blog and keep bringing them up.
Your pal,
John
What the mashed potatoes?
Wow, that vid was crazy!
And I'm proud of you for wanting to apologize for something like that. Not many people would. :3
What are you trying to say?
That Animaniacs is a good show, or a bad show? Whichever way, it did have some of the fullest TV animation this side of Ren and Stimpy (only not on the same level of acting.)
And, if this series 'spits' on the face of animation, how could it end up being honored with multiple Emmys and Peabody awards?
Myself, I thought it was a good, humorous show...until John K. called it out as being a "lie" and "drawn by someone who seemed to have a gun pointed at his head".
The things that the success of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' will do to some people.
I personally think Animaniacs is a good show, I just hate how people praise it so much over other things.
Say Mattie, what did you by I would benefit from adding more to the comments page on John K's blog than simply agreeing with him?
Mattie,
I absolutely Love Ren & Stimpy. It's a great show made by a group of very talented artists and it should have won oodles of Emmys. It didn't, but it should have. John K. has made some of the most important animated shorts (feature or TV)of the last 50+ years. That show influenced everybody in the industry and changed the animation landscape. I wish I had worked on that show, but circumstances forced me to work on other things.
As a member of the Tiny Toons/Animaniacs team and looking back on the work, we did produce some really great cartoons
(and of course there were some really horrible klunkers too!) but overall, they were good looking and well written shows! And considering the previous 20 years of animated entertainment up until that time, the WB shows were heads and tails above anything being produced at the time (until Ren & Stimpy came along) with big TV budgets...and today they still look good! These shows received great reviews and audience demographics; kids and adults loyally enjoyed the show and was consistently high in the ratings. And it's really ok to like them!
Just like I appreciate Jay Ward, Fred Cribben, Walt Disney,Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, Ward Kimball, Bob McKimson, Depatie/Freleng, Hanna/Barbera, Walter Lantz, UPA, MGM, The Simpsons etc....
Best-
Brian Mitchell
